Kittens of Kamelot: Day 4: Moving on Up

Every time I open the door to the bathroom to feed the kittens, play with them, or change the litter out, the kittens scatter and hide (usually in their crate) until I've settled down and they've decided it's safe again. However, this morning when I opened the door, Natalie mostly ignored me (but didn't scatter!), and Nathan and Neko immediately perked up and came over to meow at me and demand attention (and food, likely). It was a great start to my morning!

This trend continued the rest of the day: I'd open the door, and Nathan and Neko would come greet me with meows and nuzzles. I put lotion on my feet during my lunch break, and after work all three kittens kept sniffing at my feet, which was cute and tickled my feet a lot. Then they started wrestling and kept jumping all over my legs. Nathan plays a bit too rough sometimes, I think he doesn't realize he's like twice the weight of the girls. I wonder if he may be older than them by a bit, because he's a lot heavier! They've all been eating really well, and Nathan has to go over to eat whenever one of the girls eats - it's like any time he remembers that there's food to be had, he's got to get some! Nathan also likes to just run and dart all over the place so much. He's so energetic, and talkative now that he's gotten comfortable with the place. Neko, who was chatty her first day here, hasn't been meowing at all anymore. She just purrs and demands pets and attention by coming up to us and either nuzzling us or opening her mouth at us like she's going to meow but doesn't make any sound. One of our cats does that, so it was cute to see one of the kittens doing the same thing.

On to the pictures!!! Warning: I took a LOT today. Also, don't mind the litter everywhere. It's impossible to keep it entirely swept up for long, they knock more out than I can possibly keep totally cleaned up. Click the pics for bigger versions!
