Kittens of Kamelot: Day 3: New toys!

So this morning before I brought the kittens their food, I could hear them playing and having a blast. They are such happy kitties! They definitely wear themselves out, though. When I came home during my lunch break, I played with them a bit, and right before I left the mail came. They had little gifts! They got some fun little toys, some cute bowls, treats, and catnip! We haven't tried out the catnip yet, though I'm not sure whether or not they'll respond to it - apparently they have to be a certain age before it has any effect, and some cats aren't affected by catnip at all! But we'll see, just in case :) From what I've read it wouldn't be "harmful" either way for a kitten.

After work I came home, and James told me that Nathan had really come out of his shell. He meowed at James for pets, and purred up a storm when he got attention. He played a bunch, and apparently when Natalie saw her brother having fun outside of their crate, she joined in. She likes to hide away from us when we're in the room with them, so it's exciting to hear that she came out to play! I snuggled with Natalie a bit, and got a couple cute pictures of her tolerating it. Neko, of course, was happy to see us and cruised around regardless of who was in the room. She's a ham. Speaking of ham, Nathan eats so much!!! It's no wonder he's so much heavier than the other two, he just eats and eats every time I see him. I hope the other two gain some weight as well! They could use it.
