We've also gained 2 more kittens, though one has already left us! Chili was fixed, and adopted immediately. She was one of the only fluffy kittens I've seen so far at the rescue, so that wasn't surprising. I'm glad such a sweet kitty got her home so quickly! We got a boy, named Krinkles, who just needed a home for a week til he could be fixed. He was a black and white kitten with tons of energy. Despite all his energy, he also loved to snuggle and be a lap kitten. He was also very photogenic, so I have several pictures of him from his week with us! He went to get fixed and back to the rescue last week so that he can be adopted out, and I think he shouldn't take too long due to how super sweet he is!
Right now, we have four kittens: Valente (formerly Valencia), Vienna, Vanity, and a some-what newcomer, Lovey. We got her as she really needed socializing with other kitties. We've had her a little more than a week, I think, and we first only had her a day before she needed to go back to the rescue for a day or so to recuperate from stress-induced tummy issues. When she came back, though, she was much better and has since grown to be very good friends with the V-kittens! She had several days of losing weight, which was very troubling, but has finally in the last three or so days begun eating properly and gaining again. Phew. She looks similar to Vanity, in that she's sort of tabby-ish, but has this really cool black tint to her fur from a second layer of fur that comes through a bit longer than the tabby coat that's all black. It's really neat looking! It doesn't show super well in pictures, but it's gorgeous in person. Hopefully you can see it a bit in the pictures anyway!
