Kittens of Kamelot: Litter #3!

After the wedding, we came home on Friday, and got the bathroom kitten-ready on Sunday. There were no kittens for us yet, but on Monday we were able to pick up a new litter! Three little girls that we'll likely have for several weeks. Yay! They were already named: Valencia (the orange and white), Vanity (the tabby/tortie mix), and Vienna (the very dark tortie). They're in much better shape than our last litter, with lots of energy and already very sociable. These girls will definitely be an "easy" litter, seeing as we'll just be encouraging more socializing and keeping them on the right track! As soon as we set them free in their room, they were running about and demanding our attention. They're very snuggly!

So far, it looks as though Vanity is the more playful of the girls, though the others do like to play as well - just not quite 24/7 like Vanity. Valencia is the chattiest, and seems to demand more snuggles and pets. Vienna has just been rather "chill" compared to her sisters, but still quite lively. We'll be weighing them daily to monitor their progress, and keeping a close eye on them. Their fur is very soft and fluffy, though with lots of "stuff" in it - they're still sort of tracking stuff around, and not pros yet at keeping themselves groomed. But we'll help them in that, so no worries. They do seem to eat a lot, which is also comforting.

When I went to pick up the litter, I was able to see some of our previous fosters! Nathan and Kosmo were both fixed and ready for adoption, and seemed to be having a ton of fun. Neko and Natalie were together, though both still a bit too small for fixing yet. Neko was chatty as ever and seemed to be doing well, though Natalie was back to being hissy - a bummer ): She's way too gorgeous to be such a fussy kitty.
